Background During the 2022 legislative session, SB22-219 was sponsored by Senators Dominick Moreno (D-Commerce City) and Jim Smallwood (R-Parker) and Representatives Monica Duran (D-Wheat Ridge) and Barbara McLachlan (D-Durango).
