In December, the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped will launch its new brand and name: Dental Lifeline Network. The name just received final trademark approval and was officially announced at the opening of the American Dental Association Annual Session last month. The Donated Dental Services (DDS) and DentaCheques program names remain unchanged. The foundation provides dental care to disabled, elderly and medically at-risk patients. It has over 15,000 volunteer dentists and 3,000 laboratories, providing care in all 50 states. It was established 35 years ago and is headquartered in Denver, Colo.
