Show of hands…who out there has been to the American Dental Association annual meeting? If you have, I don’t need to tell you about the magnitude of this education and networking experience. If you haven’t, then picture this: 300 CE courses presented by world class speakers, over 550 exhibitors representing every facet of dentistry, brand new products just waiting to be released at this event, and first class networking opportunities with dentists from all over the nation and world. Now here’s the best part. This October, it’s coming to Denver for the first time since 1930.

I invite you to join me and thousands of your colleagues to experience what the ADA has to offer at “ADA 2016 – America’s Dental Meeting.” Take your networking to the national level with numerous professional and social events. Strengthen your skillset during the hundreds of innovative continuing education courses. Interact with vendors on the exhibit hall floor, and stock up on supplies and equipment. The ADA annual meeting is an extraordinary event that I encourage you and your dental team to experience—especially since it’s coming to our backyard!
The world of dentistry comes together at the ADA annual meeting. Hundreds of related dental groups are hosting their meetings and events at ADA 2016, one of which being the New Dentist Conference. ADA 2015 was the inaugural year for the two meetings coming together, giving attendees the opportunity to experience both meetings in one. The New Dentist Conference sold out with nearly 400 new dentists in attendance and the conference exceeded expectations. With leadership opportunities, networking, a unique and tailored CE track, and an engaging keynote presentation delivered by Shark Tank co-star Daymond John, new dentists were able to take advantage of this valuable experience. The concurrence of these two events led to mentorship and learning opportunities for new and experienced dentists alike. I had a wonderful time interacting with the bright, passionate doctors who are the future of our profession.
The ADA annual meeting is for the entire dental family. Bring your dental team to take advantage of fantastic learning opportunities. There are hundreds of no-fee continuing education courses offered, most of which are open to your entire team. You can also advance your skills with hands-on cadaver courses, cone beam certifications, specialty education offerings and more.
The ADA has made great strides in the last 86 years, and I encourage you to consider being a part of the innovation, leadership and comradery.
Save the date for ADA 2016 in Denver, Oct. 20-25, 2016. I look forward to seeing you there. Registration will open in the spring of 2016. You can find updated information on ADA.org/meeting.
