About the Role:
Rocky Mountain Health Care Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our Clinic Operations team. In this role, you will diagnose and treat dental conditions, educate patients on oral health best practices, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team dedicated to improving the lives of our participants.
What You’ll Do
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions including cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
• Perform procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and prosthetic fittings.
• Review patient medical records, including medications and allergies, prior to treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
• Prescribe medications and refer participants to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Nursing to ensure quality care.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and coaching to dental assistant staff.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Dentist.
• Current Colorado dental license required.
• Experience with dental equipment, tools, surgeries, and extractions.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
