Attention Medicaid Providers: The Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing contacted the CDA today wanting to inform members of a temporary system glitch in the Medicaid system. The computer error is denying dentist providers the fluoride varnish (D1206) reimbursement.
The Medicaid office is quickly rectifying this situation. Claims for these codes submitted under fee-for service that have been denied will be “mass adjusted” to pay in approximately 10 days.
