Be a Leader in Your Profession: Official Call for CDA Delegates and Officers

Kelsey CreehanFeatured News

The CDA Annual Session is a weekend that combines leadership with CDA business, professional wellbeing and CE in a family-friendly location. This year, we’re holding the meeting at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. This is a great opportunity to get involved with organized dentistry. Volunteer to be a CDA delegate or run for a leadership position!

Register With Your Component to Be a CDA Delegate

Represent your component as a delegate to the CDA House of Delegates on Friday, June 7. To volunteer as a delegate, contact your component president or the CDA (303-996-2844 or molly@cdaonline.org). Prior experience is not necessary, and we encourage anyone interested to participate. The role of a delegate allows you to learn about and act on issues affecting your profession. It’s also a great opportunity for new dentists to get involved and network with other dentists statewide. The deadline to submit your name is April 1.

Delegates and alternate delegates must be active or retired CDA members in good standing. The CDA has lodging stipends available for first-time delegates or alternate delegates who have practiced less than five years. To apply for this stipend, contact CDA Director of Membership Erica Carvin at 303-996-2842 or erica@cdaonline.org

The term begins at ADA 2020.

Alternate Delegate to the American Dental Association 2020 (one-year term, six funded positions and four unfunded positions available): Candidates must be an active or a retired member in good standing with the CDA and must have served as a CDA delegate for at least two years or have served as an ADA delegate or alternate delegate in the past.
