Until we take the time to learn what motivates and discourages people, we are at a disadvantage. Being aware of one’s behavioral style and the way in which we interact with others can lead to more productive relationships and reduce tension. CDA & MDDS member dentists can register one additional team member at no additional cost.

• Define how we can practice simple principles to connect better with today’s employees and patients 
• Discuss how team dynamics will improve with a balanced team 
• Describe how skills we practice with our team can also help us attract and retain patients
• Build rapport between different behavioral styles and gain insight into your own working style
• Understand the significant connection between one’s intention and effect

Presenters:

Brad Guyton D.D.S., M.B.A., M.P.H., serves as Chief Dental Officer for Delta Dental of Colorado and Delta Dental of Virginia. He is an Associate Professor and Course Director for Practice Management, Ethics and Professionalism at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and practices clinical dentistry in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Guyton serves on boards for dental schools and dental foundations, is a Fellow in the ACD, and a member of the ADA, CDA, VDA, and AGD.

Mindy Giffin, is an award-winning recruiting expert with over 15 years of experience in attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent. She has a passion for teaching others the art of assessment and prides herself on helping her clients build world-class teams.
