On Sept. 24, the CDA Foundation hosted its golf tournament for charity at the Golf Club at Bear Dance in Larkspur, CO. Money earned from the tournament went to support the CDA Foundation’s grant program, which helps fund non-profit organizations that champion dental access statewide.

All players in the tournament received a free pair of Oakley sunglasses in addition to breakfast, lunch, prize drawing opportunities and plenty of sunshine. During lunch the foundation awarded grant checks to three deserving Colorado organizations:
• CHARG Resource Center (charg.org)
• Colorado Orthodontic Foundation (coloradoorthodonticfoundation.org)
• La Clinica Tepeyac (clinicatepeyac.org)

The CDA Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that supports access to care and Dental Health Matters efforts to increase discussions about oral health and the dental profession in Colorado. Through its grant program, it has given over $52,000 to oral health programs and initiatives since 2017.
