The Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) is conducting sunset reviews on permitting dental hygienists to place interim therapeutic restorations and apply silver diamine fluoride on dental patients. The sunset review determines, among other things, if an agency’s statute and rules adequately protect the public without imposing undue burdens on the regulated community.
