Thank you to all of the dentists, dental professionals and community volunteers who donated their time Oct. 20-23, 2011 for the fifth annual Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM). More than 1,300 adults and children, who could not afford dental care, were provided with free treatment and education through this program.
In two days, 170 dentists, 90 dental hygienists, 180 dental assistants, and 30 dental lab technicians provided patients with $800,000 in donated oral healthcare services. The CDA sincerely appreciates the efforts of everyone who volunteered for, donated to, and supported COMOM 2011. Our special thanks go to the City of Brush, and the surrounding communities, for welcoming this program.
