The Colorado Dental Association proudly announces its new executive director and CEO, Molly Pereira. As Molly enters her 21st year at the CDA, she will become the association’s first female executive director and CEO.
Molly started with the CDA in 2002 and has worked in nearly every facet of the association, most recently as associate executive director and interim executive director. In addition, she serves as the president of the CDA Foundation, the association’s 501(c)3 charity arm, and the president of CDA Enterprises, the association’s for-profit company. Molly also serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Mission of Mercy, a portable access-to-care clinic providing free dental care in Colorado to thousands of individuals each year.
“I’m so honored to have the opportunity to lead this incredible organization that has been important to me for so many years,” Molly said. “I look forward to continuing the CDA’s work advocating for essential healthcare, while also ensuring our dentist members have the tools they need to thrive.”
During her time at the CDA, Molly has primarily overseen communications, marketing, association governance and operations, community water fluoridation, advocacy, and volunteer programs. Molly is a Colorado native and graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder.
The CDA is a professional membership organization representing nearly 70% of Colorado licensed dentists. It is dedicated to advancing dentistry and advocating for oral health in Colorado, while fostering the success of its member dentists.
