During the 2018 CDA Annual Session in Crested Butte, Colo., the second annual Bitte Geben Biergarten fundraiser raised about $7,500 through the sale of CDA Foundation beer steins and donations from generous CDA member dentists. All of the biergarten proceeds will go directly toward funding scholarships for University of Colorado dental students.
CDA Foundation Initiatives
Helping dental students is just one way the CDA Foundation is giving back. Other initiatives include:
- providing access to care to families across generations,
- establishing dental coordinators in underserved areas,
- educating children about the role of oral health in overall health, and
- securing the CDA as the leading oral health advocate in Colorado.
