The ADA Foundation has chosen individuals and organizations from the 14th District to receive grants and scholarships. Of those who were recognized were an organization—Bright by Three—and two students from Colorado.

Bright by Three received the Samuel D. Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health grant. Bright by Three, which was known as Bright Beginnings at the time of the grant presentation, received $5,000 to help with its mission that remains the same despite the name change. Bright by Three’s mission is to provide a bright beginning for all Colorado children by helping families support their children’s physical, emotional and intellectual development during the critical first three years of life.

Two dental students from Colorado—Audrina Munoz of Aurora and Belen Lourdes Villalovos of Rangely—received $1,000 scholarships from the Allied Dental Student Scholarship Fund.

Congratulations to these deserving programs and students!
