Dental implant rehabilitation is part of the standard of care. Learn the foundational skills and knowledge for implant dentistry treatment planning.

• Understand indications and contraindications for dental implants
• Identify dental implant selection criteria with case presentation examples 
• Review surgical implant placement and implant components 
• Compare implant impression techniques; open vs. closed tray, and digital workflow methods
• Recognize and avoid common errors and optimize patient case presentation

Speaker: Dr. Lauren Basile is a board-certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Connecticut and completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dr. Basile has comprehensive experience in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, infections, trauma, orthognathic surgery, and both benign and malignant pathology. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Basile is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and maintains privileges at several Denver area hospitals.
