If you have not done so, please remember to renew your state dental license.  All Colorado dentist and dental hygienist licenses expired on Feb. 28, 2014.  Dentists and dental hygienists are not permitted to practice dentistry without a current license.  The license renewal process is administered by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).  All questions regarding this process should be directed to 303-894-2984 or 303-894-7800 or dora_dpo_onlinelicenses@state.co.us.   Some changes were made to the renewal process this year.  For a guide on how to navigate the license renewal process, click here.

You can confirm the status of your license renewal at https://www.colorado.gov/dora/licensing/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx. Under “Dental” select the applicable license type and enter your last name. Click on “Detail” next to your name. Once DORA has processed your license renewal, the “Expiration Date” will show as “02/29/2016.”
