During the 2017 CDA Annual Session in Beaver Creek, Colo., the Past President’s Reception doubled as a fundraiser for the CDA Foundation. Because of the generosity of CDA members in attendance, the first-ever Bitte Geben Biergarten raised $6,000 through the sale of CDA Foundation-branded beer steins. All of the biergarten proceeds will go directly toward funding scholarships for University of Colorado dental students.
CDA Foundation Initiatives
Helping dental students is just one way the CDA Foundation is giving back. Other initiatives include:
- providing access to care to families across generations,
- establishing dental coordinators in underserved areas,
- educating children about the role of oral health in overall health, and
- securing the CDA as the leading oral health advocate in Colorado.
