Duties:
– Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
– Take dental x-rays and CBCT images
– Assess patients’ oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
– Administer local anesthesia as needed
– Assist the dentist during procedures when/if necessary
– Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental
– Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
– Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
– Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
– Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Colorado
– Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
– Proficiency in using Open Dental (not required)
– Knowledge of coding systems for dental procedures
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
– Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
