The Colorado Dental Board has started preliminary discussions regarding licensure exam structure, specifically transitioning to accepting only a non-patient exam in the future. While the discussion and rulemaking processes will likely occur over an extended timeline, we encourage members to send us any initial feedback or questions you may have on the potential outcomes associated with switching to a non-patient exam structure. CDA staff will aggregate all comments for Dental Board consideration as these discussions kick off in July. As formal rule drafting and comment periods get underway, the CDA will provide additional opportunities for members to offer feedback.
