Colorado’s Senator Bennet Introduces Bill to Fund Meth Project Prevention Campaign

May 3, 2010

On April 29, Senator Michael Bennet from Colorado introduced S. 3278 in the U.S. Senate to provide matching grants of up to $2 million per year to underwrite community outreach and prevention campaigns, such as the Meth Project, in states with critical methamphetamine problems.  In addition to broad ranging social, community and personal impacts, methamphetamine abuse has devastating oral health effects.  The CDA is pleased to see the attention Senator Bennet has given to this important issue.
