The state of Colorado recently chose 10 priorities – or “winnable battles” – as areas of focus for public health time and resources in the coming months. Oral health was chosen as a priority winnable battle. It is encouraging to see oral health recognized among the state’s health priorities. “Winnable battles” largely target health problems with proven programs that can save lives and reduce harm.
