To become a fellow of the American College of Dentists (ACD), International College of Dentists (ICD), and Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA), you must be nominated. Know someone deserving of these fellowships? Nominate him or her today. Here’s how.
ACD Nomination
Fellows of the ACD have records of leadership, excellence, and meritorious achievement in dentistry or public service, reflected in professional organizational involvement, dental education, dental research, and dental journalism. Candidates must be members of the American Dental Association. Candidates also must be of good moral character and have a strong reputation for ethical conduct and professional standing.
Nominate a dentist for ACD Fellowship. The deadline to submit nominations is Jan. 15, 2019.
ICD Nomination
What qualifies a dentist to be a Fellow in the ICD? Fellowship is by invitation only, and only members can nominate a dentist for fellowship. The honor is presented to dentists who are members of the ADA, at least five years into his or her dental career, graduates of an ADA-recognized dental school, an active contributor to the dental profession or community, and of high integrity and character.

PFA Nomination
Candidates for active fellowship in the PFA are ethical dentists who have made outstanding contributions to the art and science of dentistry or to society. Candidates must be members of the American Dental Association. Fellowship is by invitation only and candidates must have graduated from accredited schools at least five years prior to nomination.
