Thank you to those who registered as volunteers for Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) Day 2011. Free product recipients were announced this month. Each year, corporate sponsors Henry Schein and Colgate generously donate supply kits to GKAS volunteers to help them with their patient treatment and education in February. As 2010 draws to a close, there is still time to register for GKAS. Click here to get started! If you are already registered, it isn’t too early to start planning for your Feb. 4, 2011 GKAS program. Now is a great time to brainstorm ideas to prepare for your day, whether you’re visiting schools for presentations, providing treatment to underserved children in your office or visiting a clinic to volunteer your services. We encourage you to reach out to your community (schools, churches, clubs, community groups, etc.) and find deserving patients and groups that would greatly benefit from your services on GKAS day. The CDA is also happy to help you!
