Dr. Brandon Owen has provided exceptional service to the CDA as its editor since January 2011. He will be stepping down this fall, opening the opportunity for another CDA member. The CDA is looking for a new editor. If you are detail-oriented, have a good understanding of the English language and grammar, have an interest in writing, and have several hours each month to serve your profession – the CDA editor position may be for you.
The editor oversees publication of the CDA Journal and eNewsletters, exercising editorial control over such publications and the CDA Website. The editor serves as a voting member of the Council on Membership and an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee. Any active or retired CDA member in good standing can apply for the editor position. The editor is confirmed by a majority vote of the Board of Trustees.
To apply, please submit a letter of interest, along with a CV and past writing samples to Molly Pereira at molly@cdaonline.org. Submissions are due by July 15, 2012.
