Don’t miss the CDA Annual Session!
June 9-12, 2011
Snowmass, CO
This weekend has something for everyone:
CE: Several courses are available including Dr. Roger Wise speaking on a “Multidisciplinary Approach to the Management of Dental Alveolar Trauma.”
House of Delegates: This annual business meeting of the CDA is thrilled to welcome a keynote address by American Dental Association President Dr. Raymond Gist.
Live Entertainment: Vocal rock band, Face, will be performing a cappella style on Saturday night. Using just five voices and a vocal drummer, or “beat-boxer,” Face creates a rock-music phenomenon that has to be seen to be believed. No other instruments or special effects – just six guys. They most recently appeared on season one of NBC’s a cappella competition, “The Sing Off.”
Recreation: When not in class, the weekend also features yoga courses, a beading/jewelry-making class, a guided mountain bike ride, the golf tournament and many other outdoor activities.
And of course attendees and families won’t want to miss the brand new “mammoth” exhibit in Snowmass. Recently, crews in Snowmass have recovered the parts of eight to 10 American mastodons, four Columbian mammoths, and several other animals, insects, and plant matter representing several different Ice Age ecosystems. Scientists consider the find to be one of the most significant in Colorado history.
