Continuing Education Credit
The CDA and the Council on Membership make every effort to present high-caliber speakers. The presentations of the speakers in no way imply endorsement of any product, technique or service presented in these classes. The CDA specifically disclaims responsibility for any material presented.
Dentists Certification
The CDA requires members to complete 15 hours of CE each year (8 of which must be clinical) to maintain “Membership in Good Standing.” The CDA grants one credit for each hour of attendance at a dental-related education program. To qualify, all CE must be ADA CERP, AGD PACE or AMA Category 1 certified.
Dental Team Certification
Dental hygienists, assistants and other staff members should refer to their respective associations for their CE requirements.
The Colorado Dental Association is an ADA CERP recognized provider.
ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the ADA CERP at www.ada.org/goto/cerp.
