Assistant: The SCCC dental assistant is responsible for the delivery of professional dental care services. He or she assists the dentists and hygienists with procedures, room set-up, x-rays, language interpretation and ensuring an organized and infection-free environment. The dental assistant performs specific duties as assigned by the dental coordinator and dental provider.
