Low-Cost Dentistry

The Colorado Dental Association supports Colorado dental charities and non-profit dental clinics throughout the state. These organizations offer dental care on a sliding fee scale to individuals who are unable to afford treatment. Several of these organizations have financial and residency requirements. Others are established to help a certain portion of the population (i.e. children, the homeless, people with disabilities, etc.).

For a list of these clinics and health centers, click here.

In addition, the CDA hosts charitable dental programs to help both children and adults. Colorado dental professionals are constantly giving back to their communities and have given millions of dollars in donated dental services through these charitable programs.

  • Give Kids a Smile Day is a day of free dental treatment and education for kids. This program takes place on the first Friday of February each year. The next event will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011. Dental volunteers from across Colorado donate their time to help children without dental insurance or the ability to afford dental care. Children must have an appointment in advance to receive free care. Click here to learn more!
  • Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) is a 100-chair portable dental clinic that travels to different areas of the state. This annual clinic — scheduled in 2010 for October 1-2 in Colorado Springs — provides two days of free dental treatment to adults and children.
